“What is going on?” Was a semi-famous line said by Joe Schmo reality show star Matt Kennedy Gould. During the finale of Joe Schmo, when the true nature and identity of the other “contestants” were revealed, Gould kept asking, “what is going on?”

13 years later, in 2016 on a Season 4 Episode of the Eric Andre Show, guest Jack McBrayer exclaimed, “What is going on?”

The tone and delivery by both men were so similar, it begs the question: Are Jack McBrayer and Matt Kennedy Gould the same person?
