UPDATE: It’s well over 6 months later since this happened and I can’t find a single update about this case. Has the wrongdoings of this New Orleans (NOPD) officer simply been swept under the rug?

Another police officer, Gerry Paul of the New Orleans Police Department, was arrested on stomach churning charges. Is this simply more reason to defund police? Even in a liberal city like New Orleans, police forces simply can’t keep a hold on criminal activity by their own.
