I dropped my Verizon tablet which damaged the sim card tray and made for a loose sim card. After this accident, the Android tablet would no longer recognize the sim card and an error would either tell me the sim car isn’t recognized or that there was no sim card installed. Even though the sim card was installed in the sim tray, the tray got damaged and wouldn’t make a tight fit so the connections and the metal pins would not connect and the tablet couldn’t tell the sim card was in there. I needed to fix the sim card not installed by figuring out a way to make a tight fit by somehow applying permanent pressure from the tablet to the sim card. This video shows you how I fixed it for free and the tablet still works and still has data.
