The following is a presentation of ESPN Sports and how well Sega ESPN NFL 2K5 still plays today. These are examples 1-10, using replays dubbed with my own commentary, to enlighten those who doubt which is the best football game ever made or those who simply don’t know about this game.
Espn NFL 2K5 was released on July 20th, 2004. At the time of this video being published, that’s 15.5 years ago. Life was different for me then. And with everything I’ve been through, I still have my copy (now copies) of 2K5 and have chosen to play ESPN NFL 2k5 as my go-to NFL football video game. I’ve tried almost every release of Madden.
Even on gaming consoles 2-generations newer and so much more powerful (the Xbox One X is approximately 300x more “powerful” than the Original Xbox), it’s like comparing an original iPhone to the iPhone 11, Sega’s ESPN NFL 2K5 plays so well on my OG Xbox (or PS2 for that matter), that I still play ESPN NFL 2K5 more than any game on any console in my video gaming library.
I own many more current and modern versions of sports games like current generation Madden and NBA 2K, I spend way more time playing ESPN NFL 2K5 than any other game on any other gaming system I own.
