News of the Draymond Punch of teammate Jordan Poole has been making viral NBA news in the past 24 hours. Draymond Green is facing suspension. While all of this may seem like a bad thing for the defending NBA Champions, this is actually a positive omen for the squad. One only has to look back to the early 2000’s, when lunatic linebacker Bill Romanowski punched Marcus Williams. That season, the Los Angeles Raiders won their division. What we can deduce is that if a veteran player punches a younger teammate, the team will experience many victories and accolades that same season.
