The ads you see on YouTube are, to put it mildly, ridiculous. Case in point, take a look at this ad for “Senior Dating.” If this woman, who couldn’t possibly be over 40 years old, is considered a female senior citizen, then I’ve totally skipped my middle-age years and have joined this woman for the early bird special at the local cafeteria.
Is there any quality control involved with the ads YouTube approves by its advertisers? This one is ridiculous, but at least it’s not obscene. But the obscene ones are a dime a dozen as well. And we will cover those in future episodes.
