Bonus Coverage and Opinions about Julio Jones being injured again, and injury-prone, can be listened to with the exclusive commentary audio below:
Titans WR Julio Jones is out again. Julio Jones is injured and his hamstring injury will force him to miss more playing time. I think declaring Julio Jones, at least at this stage in his career, “injury-prone” is justified. He’s not going to play against the Indianapolis Colts. His numbers are way down. Julio Jones’ productivity has fallen off a cliff. Is Julio Jones done? Is his career over? What kind of value does a former top 5 wide receiver who misses time with nagging injuries and is approaching his mid-30’s have?
Titans wide receiver Julio Jones will not play in Sunday’s game against the Colts, the team announced. Jones, a 32-year-old veteran, is battling a hamstring injury.
He’s been out of practice this week and the Titans ruled him out for Sunday’s game against the Colts on Friday. He’s been limited to 17 catches for 301 yards and has spent extended stretches on the bench during games when he has been active.
After not practicing this week, Jones is officially out. They may end up holding him out for multiple weeks to finally get his hamstring right, but there have been no reports of him going on I.R. as of yet.
