USPS Scam via iMessage and Bogus Website.

#Scam #Phishing #USPS
I received this really sketchy iMessage claiming to be from the USPS. I followed the instructions to expose the scam and share it with you. It’s a plot to get your credit card or debit card information, as well as your name and address.

Please watch this video and share it with everyone you know. If you’re the technically savvy person in your circle, do your best to educate the ones you care about who are vulnerable to scams like this. Also, try to encourage those less knowledgeable about scams to always stop and research anything that looks suspicious or out of the ordinary. The disruption and hardships falling for a scam like this can be immeasurably destructive to someone’s life and finances.

The red flags in this video include receiving an iMessage from the USPS, the bogus “ups—us.top” domain, the invalid tracking number, and the request for your billing information to charge you $0.30 to redirect or correct the address of the non-existent parcel.
