Is Bobby Hebert Sexist and Does WWL and Entercom Support Sexism?

After a recent 12-10 Victory for the New Orleans Saints against the Dallas CowBOYS, I tuned my radio in to WWL 870 AM (also 105.3 FM New Orleans) to listen to “The Point After Show” to get the local take on what was an amazing football game where the New Orleans Saints, despite not having future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, were able to play stellar defense in the upset victory. What I heard blasting over the unfiltered airwaves was highly disturbing.

After a brief wait for Bobby Hebert to arrive to the studio, the listeners were greeted with blatant sexism from the “voice of the Saints”, Mr. Bobby Hebert. Repeatedly, he chose to call the Dallas CowBOYS the Dallas CowGIRLS. This was Bobby Hebert’s attempt to mock, tease and ridicule the losing team.

I ask you this, why would a man make fun of a team of football players, coaches and executives by changing the word from boys to girls? Clearly, Mr. Bobby Hebert considers the female gender to be inferior.
