I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what happened to all those amazing free Shop Cash rewards that used to come through the Shop app. If you’ve been using the app for a while like I have, you probably remember those golden days when we could regularly receive and use Shop Cash, turning small amounts like five dollars into incredible deals worth up to fifty dollars just by being smart about finding the best offers.

Looking back at my transaction history, I noticed something pretty disappointing. Since May, I haven’t received any Shop Cash at all, which is such a dramatic change from how things used to be. Before that cutoff, I was able to spend those small five dollar increments several times, but even those opportunities became rare.

What made this whole system so great was the community aspect of it all. I used to find Shop Cash links and codes shared on websites like Reddit and in dedicated subreddits where deal hunters would help each other out. There was this amazing sense of community around maximizing these rewards and sharing the wealth with fellow shoppers.

But now I’m genuinely curious and a bit confused about where all of this went. Did the Shop app permanently stop distributing free Shop Cash, or is this just a temporary pause? I’m really hoping someone in the community might have some insight into what’s happening behind the scenes.

If anyone out there knows of current hotspots, websites, or social media accounts where Shop Cash links or codes are still being shared, I would absolutely love to hear about them. I miss those days of turning small rewards into significant savings, and I know I’m not the only one feeling nostalgic about this change.

The whole experience used to be so much fun, combining the thrill of deal hunting with the satisfaction of maximizing every dollar.
