Jrue Holiday was the victim of a targeted attack by Derrick Rose during their recent meeting. Derrick Rose made easy work of Jrue Holiday when he iso’d up on Jrue for that looked like an easy, game-winning bucket.

This was only the most recent of many Pelicans losses this year. A lot of people will blame the current struggles by the New Orleans Pelicans on the absence of Zion Willionson. Some may even blame coach Alvin Gentry.

I think a lot of the reason why the Pelicans are struggling this year may be because Jrue Holiday is not what he used to be on the court. If Jrue Holiday can’t play lock down defense as one of the best defenders in the league, does Jrue even belong on the court?
