This is my review of a 32″ Cheeseburger Po’ Boy (poor boy) purchased from Brothers in New Orleans, Louisiana.

New Orleans, Louisiana is known for its cuisine, and poor boys (po-boys) are certainly a local comfort food that anyone can enjoy. This poor boy is on 32 inches of french bread, filled with halved hamburger patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayonnaise.

This po-boy is considered, “dressed.” In New Orleans, to “dress” a sandwich usually means to include lettuce, mayo, tomato and pickle. The opposite of “dressed” would be to order your sandwich, “plain.”
