Truth Social launched on Monday, February 21st, 2022. The new social media made lots of promises revolving around eliminating censorship. What the Truth Social media site didn’t promise if that you would actually be able to use the app. The truth social waiting list had me behind 330,000+ other people who were able to successfully register. And actually completing the registration process for the Truth Social iOS app was a task in itself. Immediately, trending searches like “truth social error” were climbing search engine reporting charts and errors simply creating an account were causing many potential users to simply give up.
This video will show you what I learned when I was able to join the truth social waiting list. And for my efforts, I simply wait to get a notification on my iPhone that the Truth Social app is truly live and functional. If you were having difficulties joining truth social, watching this video will clear up the confusing process of making your account and reserving your username. This video is especially helpful for anyone who is getting the following error, “something went wrong.”

More information about the launch of Truth Social by Trump Media & Technology Group is below:
Truth Social, according to Trump, is an alternative to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, which all banned him when his followers attacked the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. The former president is accused of pushing his supporters to use violence in order to sway the outcome of the 2020 election. On Sunday, the App Store opened up pre-orders for Truth Social, which will be released on Monday, Presidents Day in the United States. The app was said to be available to some of those who had pre-ordered it later Sunday.
Despite a rocky start, Donald Trump’s Truth Social app has amassed over 500,000 users in just 48 hours. The Trump Media and Technology Group’s app went online on Apple’s App Store in the early hours of Monday. Those who had not pre-ordered Truth Social could now create accounts on the self-described “free speech” platform. According to Twitter users who published their number on the expanding wait list, Truth Social had become the number one free app on the Apple marketplace by Tuesday evening after more than half a million individuals signed up. However, there were some teething issues with the introduction. Many users complained that the sign-up system was not working soon after it went live.
For months, the site had been hailed as the crown jewel of Trump’s post-presidential commercial ambitions, with supporters promising that it would revolutionize social media and bring down the big social networks where Trump is barred.
However, early impressions of Truth Social imply that its features are nearly comparable to those supplied by Twitter and other sites for years — with the exception that tweets are referred to as “truths,” and retweets are referred to as “retruths.” The site’s early difficulties have also raised worries about Trump’s company’s ability to manage more difficult long-term tasks, such as policing for harmful content and defending against hackers.
Former President Donald Trump unveiled his long-awaited social media platform, Truth Social, on Monday, after months of conjecture, tribulation, and excitement. The software, a shameless Twitter clone, is available for download on the Apple App Store and, as of publication on Wednesday, was at the top of Apple’s download charts.
Despite all of the buzz, Truth Social is still completely unusable. The app experienced scores of technical issues just hours after its Presidents’ Day launch, ranging from a 13-hour downtime to users being unable to create an account, let alone receive the confirmation email that permits them to begin the process of joining. Even if you were able to get a username, there’s a good chance you’ve been added to one of the over 300,000 people on the queue.
