#Windows10Tips #Windows11Fix #PhotoViewerAlternative

Tired of how slow the Windows Photos app runs on Windows 10 or 11? I found a simple fix that brought back the speed and simplicity I missed. The secret is “Photos Legacy”—the classic Windows Photo Viewer from Windows 7 and 8. It’s still available for free in the Microsoft Store. After downloading it, I just right-clicked an image, selected “Open with,” chose “Photos Legacy,” and checked the box to always use it for that type of file. You might have to do this for a few different image formats, but it’s worth it. It loads photos instantly and doesn’t come with all the unnecessary extras that slow things down. If the current Photos app is driving you crazy, give this a try. I really hope Microsoft keeps it available in the future.
