I recently hosted a giveaway where I offered up a 24-ounce can of Lakeside Beef with juices—just beef and salt, nothing else. I ran the contest through Gleam.io and was thrilled with the turnout. The giveaway page got 224 views, there were 41 total actions, and 11 people officially entered, giving me a 4.9% conversion rate. Not bad for the first run!

To make sure everything stayed fair, I filtered out any invalid entries to prevent cheating. After doing that, I randomly drew a winner—Steve W.—who entered by viewing sillyreviews.com on Facebook. I’ve sent Steve an email to confirm his shipping address, and once I hear back, I’ll get his can of beef mailed out. If I don’t hear back, no worries—a new winner will be chosen.
