Is Ingles Markets Breaking The Law? (Disability Discrimination)

#Ingles #ADA #Colorblind
Is Ingles, the southeast chain of supermarkets, discriminating against people with disabilities by making sales prices only visible by people who don’t have color blindness? Does this qualify as a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act??

What happens is people (like myself) with color blindness can’t read the digital sales flyers. That means people with similar vision disabilities have difficulty finding sale prices on food. Food is a basic necessity and an ever increasing expense. This seems to be discriminatory behavior by Ingles-Markets. Why would they want people with vision disabilities to pay more than people without these disabilities?

My specific colorblindness is called Protan Color Blind.
I have a stronger deficiency in my red color cone, which means I have a type of red-green color blindness called Protan.

What do you think? Is this intentional? Leave a comment.
