This video is proof that ibotta is indeed legit, even if it’s annoying. Like all good things, ibotta started off giving so much for doing so little. I’m talking free Thanksgiving dinner, huge rebates, simple redemption process, etc. but that was years ago.

Ibotta is still around and they’re probably still the most popular receipt scanning rebate app. Walmarts relatively new Walmart Cash rebate program working the Walmart App (Walmart Pay) dealt a big blow to ibotta as people would rather just clip the deals inside the Walmart app. But there’s no question ibotta keeps shooting itself in the foot with changes that give participants less and less while having to do more and more.

Regardless, ibotta is still a way to get some decent cash back from stuff you may already be purchasing. Stacked with in-store discounts, membership rewards, etc., I’d say ibotta is still worth the hassle.

The minimum to cash out to PayPal is $20.00. That’s what I prove in this video….that they really do pay out. But I always run into a hassle which leads to extra steps and wasted time.
