If you own this obdii diagnostic scan tool, or a similar one, you’ll quickly realize that the software update process is more difficult than it should be. In this review and tutorial, I’ll show you how to register your device, download the FX-Series Update Client Software then successfully update your unit. You may notice your device running a bit more slowly after the update, but the updates are well worth any sacrifice in speeds.
Once I was finally able to update my own unit, I had a total of 27 updates which took about 30 minutes. There were updates to lots of manufacturers like Ford, Audi, etc.
