I ordered some stickers for my hot sauce I will soon be selling. Unfortunately, I skimped out so hard to get the price down, I didn’t realize how important the slits on the back were. Sticker slits are cuts on the backing of stickers (and other adhesives) that make it easy to remove the sticker backing.
After destroying a few stickers by trying to separate the backing at the edges with my fingernail, I came up with a better idea. With the right touch, you can do your own sticker slitting. It only took a few tries with the blade of a pair of cheap scissors to start making nearly perfect slits in the back of my vinyl stickers. I think I would have done even better with a new razor blade or box cutter.
So, if you want to save a ton of money on stickers, you may want to consider following my instructions in this video.
