Ryobi Battery vs Energup Aftermarket Battery – Stop Wasting Your Money

After purchasing another aftermarket 18-volt lithium-ion Ryobi One+ compatible batter by Energup, I decided to revisit the comparison between the comparable Ryobi brand P102 battery and the Energup P103 battery. Please keep in mind that this video is not comparing two identically advertised products, it is to compare PRICE and PERFORMANCE of comparable batteries which take on the same task….powering Ryobi batter-powered tools.

On, The Energup 2,000mAh P103 battery is selling for $23.99. The Ryobi 1,300mAh battery is selling for $29.06.

To be noted, the Energup P103 battery can replace many different models of the Ryobi 18v One Plus and Non-One+ batteries. A more direct comparison would have been on the Ryobi P103, but that batter is not a popular as the P102. The Ryobi brand P102 ships with most of the Ryobi 18v One+ tools. And if you were to purchase a Ryobi P103, you’d pay a lot more for the batter and only get an additional~200mAh of power (1500 mAh total).

On, and at the time of this post, The Energup P103 has 826 ratings with an average rating of 4.3/5. In comparison, the Ryobi P102 has 553 ratings with an average rating of 3.6/5. I think that’s a pretty large sample size and should be quite telling. And if you’re worried about fake reviews, gives the reviews for the Enegup P103 a grade PAsses the reviews for the Energup P103 and says the reviews are neutral (which is a good thing).

Energup, which is a word trademark by Yu Xiaoling
