This is a “cup” size of chili with added cheddar cheese and sauteed onions taken to-go from Lee’s Hamburgers on Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, LA. I was too embarrassed to have anyone see me eating this in public so I had to get it to-go in the covert plain white paper bag with no logo or any other revealing information on it.

Lee’s Hamburger has been around since 1930. Strangely enough, I could really only find this link on the internet referencing this classic New Orleans hamburger joint.

Also on the menu, though I admit nor deny I had any of these items, include: Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, French Fries, Onion Rings, Chicken Sandwiches, and Shakes.
