Ore-Ida® Steam n’ Mash™ Russet Potatoes 3 Cheese Review with video

With it being Halloween time and all, and with the oh so likely playing of “Monster Mash”, what better time to go to the store and buy some mashed potatoes?  I was going to buy a box of flakes because I’m one lazy bastard who’ll eat shitty food that only takes 5 minutes as opposed to delicious food that can take half an hour.  Before picking up a box of potato flakes, I hit up the frozen food section to get some vegetables to go with the potatoes, this is where I found this awesome, new, futuristic product.  This new, out-of-this world potato product is from Ore Ida and are called “Steam n’ Mash“.  Like something from a sci-fi movie, you can use a magic “box” that plugs into a 12v outlet to make “real” mashed potatoes.  Supposedly, this magic “box” is called a microwave and can emit photons or neurons or some type of waves (like at the ocean I assume) which can ncook food very quickly.  It seems potato technology has really improved lately.  Now you can get the speed, or nearly the speed, of instant potatoes but with the chunky goodness of mashed potatoes made from scratch.  I went with the 3 cheese variety and was on my way.  What followed when I got home has been recorded and is available for viewing below.
