So, it’s July 4th, 2009 and I’m going to be drinking beer to go along with some delicious bbq hamburgers, sausage, and hot dogs.
At the convenience store, I’m at the counter when I prepare my request for a pack of the blue, KOOL XLs I’ve grown to like so much when I spot a new Malboro offering called Blend no. 54. I don’t have my glasses on so I ask the dyke-looking clerk is those are menthol and yes tells me they are. I buy a pack of Malboro Blend no. 54 cigarettes and leave the store.
I unrap this fresh pack of cigarettes and give them a sniff. These cigarettes do NOT smell like menthols. I find out in about 30 seconds these do not taste like menthol cigarettes either. After two drags, I throw the cigarette out the window and reflect on my wasting of $5.00 and change.
As a menthol smoker, I’m going to have to give these cigarettes two thumbs down.

It’s a good thing you only had a couple drags, those cigarettes give people headaches.
I just bought a pack of these today and they’re not too bad. I didn’t get headaches from them, but the menthol is very light. Definitely not for hardcore menthol smokers!
